Stoneware cooking potsStoneware Cooking pots

The first line of pots produced by Crail Pottery in the 1960's.

The range of cooking pots include tableware and "oven to table" pots such as quiche dishes, casseroles and serving dishes. We also produce a full range of matching plates, mugs and bowls.

Cooking pots are electric fired stoneware which makes them hardwearing and long lasting. Some of the originals from the 60's are still going strong!

Raku fishRaku

We do a small amount of Raku, a Japanese form of pottery, which involves heating the pot to a very high temperature, burning it in sawdust then plunging it into cold water! It’s an exciting but fun process.

Purchasing a Crail pot

These, and many other of our products, can be seen in our showroom at the pottery.

As each Crail pot is individually hand crafted, each has its own unique character. Part of this character is the warm and friendly atmosphere of its home - Crail Pottery. We want you to experience this, and as such we sell only directly from the pottery, and not from the Internet.
